Chris has co-hosted the Mantality podcast, promoting better mental health habits in men, and currently co-hosts Inside Elland Road, discussing all things Leeds United. He has worked across a wide range of podcasts in both sport and the arts – as a host and guest – and has also created his own audio drama series and filmed original comedy sketches. Some highlights are featured below:
Silence and the Self
A conversation about a ten-day silent meditation retreat I went on and the general benefits of meditation.
Life and Soul
An audio version of my play The Life and Soul and a discussion about the themes raised.
The Effects Of Stress And How To Manage It
An illuminating conversation with Professor Daryl O’Connor about stress, its effects and how to manage it.
Inside Elland Road Podcast
Chris co-hosts the Inside Elland Road podcast, along with Graham Smyth of the Yorkshire Evening Post, which covers the latest insights, analysis, and behind-the-scenes stories about Leeds United.
Ups And Downs
Chris has created an ongoing audio drama series following lifelong Leeds United fans Phil and Rob, complete opposites when it comes to supporting the club. Rob’s the eternal optimist. Phil’s the pessimist, scarred by years of Leeds-induced heartbreak.
Over a pint, they chew over the latest chaos: team selections, dodgy decisions, last-minute drama, and the emotional toll of following Leeds.
Co-written and performed by actor Paul Fox, Ups And Downs also stars Dean Smith of The Square Ball, and is produced by Ed Heaton.
